You are a transfer student if you have attempted or completed 18 or more credits at another college or university after high school graduation.

All prospective transfer students for Penn State must apply online in MyPennState. After submitting the application, MyPennState is the place where you can check your application status, as well as see your admission decision.

Transfer Students: Dates and Deadlines

Transfer applicants are evaluated on a rolling admissions basis. Some academic programs have limited enrollment or specific application dates other than the priority deadlines outlined in the chart below. In addition to reviewing these deadlines, you should review the transfer requirements outlined for your intended major.
